Community Service at Salt Farming Lombok 2019

 As an archipelagic country, the potential for salt in the country is very large. Salt is one of the needs of the community which is often an irony, because it is rich in coastal areas but is often not balanced with comparable salt productivity. In fact, the realization of salt absorption by the food and beverage industry was 800,000 tons as of February 2020. Salt industrialization is growing because of the potential land area of 9,789 hectares, although only 2,348 hectares have been utilized.The potential of salt in the West Nusa Tenggara region, especially the Jerowaru area, deserves attention. 


Strengthening social capital between various local communities in the form of synergistic cross-stakeholder coordination functions, especially between village governments, non-governmental organizations (LPDN), Awig-Awig Stakeholder Institutions, and law enforcement officials. In the future, it is hoped that the strengthening of social capital can generate a good business climate for fishing communities and salt farmers.
